Do you use translation software?

We no doubt, use certain tools depending on the content and context when dealing with the resource. But when it comes to mere translation, we do not use any software as such. People who are professional translators will perform the translation process manually.

How long does a translation take?

Strictly speaking, there is no direct, straight forward answer to this question. There are several factors that come into play such as the type of language, context and content, availability of subject matter experts, availability of tools, availability of workforce (translators, proof readers, quality evaluators and so on). Everything is to analyzed carefully even before we make a commitment to the client. Then the allocation of tasks to the different workforce, their respective turn around times depending on their expertise will also play a major role. Usually, as per a standard that we have set for ourselves, we can complete the translation of 2000-2500 words on a single day. Sometimes the work breakdown is such that for the same resource there could be more than one translator to avoid bottlenecks. In case you have to meet a tough deadline, you can send the content by e-mail and we will get back to you with the achievable turn around time.
